WEOKIE Foundation

The WEOKIE Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) public charity, provides a formal avenue of charitable giving for WEOKIE Federal Credit Union and offers financial education to the Oklahoma City and surrounding communities. The foundation is governed by an appointed volunteer Board of Directors, which oversees the foundation and its operations. The foundation donates student  and teacher scholarships, offers a free financial literacy program to grades 2-12, and makes many local charitable contributions. Your donation supports these three areas of concentration. Your donation is tax deductible and you will be sent documentation after donating. Thank you for your support of  the WEOKIE Foundation. 
Since its inception, the Foundation has:

-  Donated over $1.1 million to worthy charitable organizations

-  Has provided $542,500 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors

-  Given $82,000 in teacher grants

-  Presented Money Talks financial education sessions to over 100,000 students

Money Talks Financial Education

The WEOKIE Foundation has developed a no-cost Money Talks Financial Education program designed to teach youth how to manage money wisely. The financial literacy program focuses on classroom lessons, presentations and seminars in grades 2-12 to help students understand financial responsibilities and encourage them to make smart decisions as they become more financially accountable.

Golf Tournament

The Foundation golf tournament raises money for scholarships for graduating high school seniors and to promote financial literacy in the Oklahoma City metro area.
In addition, The Foundation also donates to numerous local and national charities.
