Yes. Our credit union debit card allows you to determine how, when, and where your card can be used. For instance, if your debit card is stolen, card controls provide the ability to lock your debit card. This will prevent the unauthorized individual from successfully completing transactions. You can also set alerts so that if your card were used for a very large purchase, you would be notified by text or email. This feature helps detect fraud immediately, enabling you to report it to us quickly.
A PIN is only required for ATM transactions but may also be necessary to complete a transaction at a merchant location.
At WEOKIE, we don’t require a credit check to issue a debit card. But you do need to open a checking account to receive our Visa® debit card.
Yes. It’s a good idea to let us know of your travel plans (especially if you leave the country) so that we can make sure you can access your funds without any problems. Just call 405-235-3030 or 1-800-678-5363 about a week before your trip so we can enter the information into your profile.
