Free Cash Back Checking FAQs
A minimum balance of $20 is needed to open the account. You'll also need to provide a valid government-issued ID and proof of address. Once you've met these requirements, you can easily open your account online or at a WEOKIE branch.
You must meet specific criteria to qualify for account rewards in a statement cycle:
- Make at least 20 debit card point-of-sale transactions
- Have at least one direct or electronic deposit of $250 or more each month
- Enroll in electronic statements
If you don’t meet the qualifications during a statement cycle, you won’t earn cash back rewards or ATM fee refunds for that cycle. Your account will not receive any cash back payments, and ATM withdrawal fees won’t be reimbursed.
We'll reimburse you for ATM fees up to $8 per statement cycle. This means you can use any ATM without worrying about extra fees. Our ATM fee reimbursement is just another benefit of having a credit union cash back checking account.
