Investing in a money market is another way of earning higher dividends and keeping the funds in your account accessible to you. A WEOKIE Money Market is a savings account that earns higher dividends than a regular savings plan, and gives members limited check-writing ability. Deposits can be made at any time. The minimum balance required for opening and maintaining this account is $2,500.

The minimum daily balance required to obtain the Annual Percentage Yield for the interest period is $2,500. If the minimum daily balance is not met, you will not earn the stated Annual Percentage Yield.

Transaction Limitations

There cannot be more than 6 automatic or telephone transfers each month and no more than three of these transfers can be made by check, draft or debit card to a third party. Also, there may not be more than three withdrawals per month before a fee is imposed.
