WEOKIE's History

At WEOKIE, we trace our history back to 1969 when the employees of Western Electric of Oklahoma pooled their resources to form a cooperative. Today, WEOKIE has grown to become one of the largest financial institutions in Oklahoma, serving tens of thousands of people with a full range of financial products and services.

Our cooperative is under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors who are elected to three year terms by the membership. Volunteers also make up the essential Credit and Supervisory Committees, lending their time and expertise to achieving the goals of the cooperative.
